I have learned, and continue to learn much also outside the classroom and workshop, from family and friends, and from public lectures on design and art. The works (art, design, and writings) of artists and designers are great resources, and can span both geographical and time barriers. Art purveyors and their technical departments have been very generous with their ideas. And then there is the advice found under the sky, in the landscape, if one takes the time as O'Keeffe said to see.:"Nobody sees a flower, really- it is so small- we haven't time, and to see takes time, like to have a friend takes time" (O'Keeffe: source was from a clipped magazine article, many years ago).
